We just wanted to update Local Business Owners & Amazon Sellers on the SME Brexit Support Fund.
What is the SME Brexit Support Fund?
On Monday 15th March, the UK government announced they will be releasing a SME Brexit Support fund, allowing small and medium-sized businesses to apply for grants up to £2,000 to help them adapt to new customs and tax rules when trading with the EU.
It has been stated on the UK Government website that: “The grant money can be used for professional training/advice so your business can meet its customs, excise, import VAT or safety and security declaration requirements”.
If you believe your business could benefit from this funding, you can visit the UK Government website to confirm eligibility and process. Please be aware, the Government states that applications will close on 30th June 2021 or earlier if all funding is allocated before this date.
