If used wisely and properly, email marketing can be a hugely powerful method of generating leads, enquiries and sales for your business.
Here a few Hints and Tips about how to use it wisely.
1 Who is the email being sent from?
Use a personal email address (not info@ or sales@, it generates a higher response
2 Subject Line
Keep your subject lines to 45 characters or less,
It should read like a headline in the Press
3 Avoid words like “free,” “reminder,” “help,” “call now,” and “discount.”
These can be picked up by spam filters
4 What if the images are blocked?
Check to see what your email would look like if all of the images are blocked-is is still understandable. If not redo.
5 What do you want your customers to do?
You should have a Call to action (Learn more, buy now, etc…) in every blast you send
