Did you know that Google have changed the rules about how to get your website to the front page?

You may have come across Pandas and Penguins in relation to Google and wondered what they were.

Well you may have heard the scraping sounds of goal posts moving but the approaches that people had been using in the past, which were deemed acceptable by Google are not only not working now, but Google is actively punishing sites for using them-resulting is sites going from page one positions to page 8 or 9 or even disappearing from the system altogether.

Pretty serious stuff!  So what do you do about it all?

Well first of all be sensible about your SEO, aggressive link building can result in you having problems as well as over using keywords etc.

For the moment I would say, do the basics and do them well and develop other methods of directing visitors to your website to support your SEO!
